Hello friends, I hope you all have been enjoying the Moon spells series. Can you believe we are just a few days away from another New Moon? It seems like we just posted our latest New Moon spells, no? This week we are going to be getting a New Moon in Gemini which will activate this Saturday June 8. As Gemini is an Air Sign, this New Moon will favor all sorts of things that Air Signs are good at. And, you can enhance those qualities by casting a New Moon spell. That’s precisely what we are going to talk about today. So let’s get to it!
The New Moon cycle as I have said so many times before is about new beginnings. The New Moon is just that. A NEW. MOON. So you have the opportunity to create all of the new beginnings you want. With the Moon in Gemini during the New Moon phase, this is the ideal time for dealing with communication, thinking, intelligence, taking short cuts, and creativity.

As an air sign, Gemini is most compatible with spells aimed at creativity, fresh ideas, travel and diplomacy. Gemini can also help to uncover hidden motives, but it is a difficult sign to work with because its inherent duality can make your ritual workings shift gears suddenly and without warning.

As ruler of the lungs, shoulders, arms and hands, the sign of Gemini is highly compatible with healing spells for these areas if you are hoping to cast a spell for physical healing during this New Moon phase.

Now, normally New Moon spells are about beginnings. But if you are casting this spell on the actual New Moon date, which is Saturday, you can harness the power of Saturday energy to increase the power of this spell. Saturday energy is about finishing the week, ending it on as good a note as you can, and banishing any limitations and negative energy you might have or has built up over the month. A Saturday New Moon spell is very powerful, as you have the doubled opportunity of out with the old, and in with the new. So how do you do it? Create your intention for your wish, or the deepest desire that is in your heart for this New Moon period.

To ask for your heart’s desire, draw the symbol of the Waxing Moon in a pure beeswax candle with a rose thorn. Light the candle, and with your eyes fixed upon the flame, concentrate on your heart’s desire being granted by the Goddess Moon. When this thought is firmly in your mind, whisper softly: “Goddess Luna, mother of all love and light, grant me my heart’s desire (say exactly what you wish for). Grant my wishes, fulfill my heart’s desire. Shine on me tonight.” Blow out the candle flame, but hold the image of it in your mind’s eye for as long as possible. As you think of the candle’s flame, know for sure that your wish has been heard. Within the space of one lunar cycle, your heart’s desire should be granted.

Hello friends, I hope you all have been working on your Moon spells and wishes. Did you all have an exciting Full Moon experience? I’d love to hear about it! We are now in what we would call a Waning Moon phase, and that simply means that the Moon is waning, or “getting smaller”. The truth is of course that the Moon never actually changes size or shape, we just see a little less of it every day during the waning moon, until the New Moon period arrives, and then the Moon becomes a waxing Moon, which means it gets bigger and bigger until it becomes Full again. This is why the New Moon is always about new beginnings, it is the Moon that starts “fresh” every single month. So what do you think it means when the moon is waning? If you said getting rid of the old, you were right! So any spells you cast during this period should focus on just that. Let’s talk about that today.

In the period between the New Moon until the 48 hours after the Full Moon has come, we have the opportunity to get rid of the old in our life. This is your opportunity to get rid of toxic people, bad clients, bad business, or bad anything. Anywhere you have drama or negativity, use the waning moon to help you rid yourself and free yourself from these limitations that are holding you back from realizing your true potential.

Now when it comes to love, a waning moon spell can be very powerful. If you have been trying to cut someone loose, or cut the toxicity loose, then a waning moon love spell can be the ideal solution. You can also do this spell if another area of your life if you are experiencing pain in some other area. For this spell you will need one black or red candle, and a bottle of purification oil that you can get at a New Age or Wiccan shop. A picture of the person you are trying to rid yourself of will help tremendously as well.

Light the candle you are going to use whenever you are ready to rid the toxicity in your life. Sit down in a quiet place with your candle, and begin to meditate on the thing or person that you want to remove from your life. After your candle has burned for about an hour, and you must wait this hour, pour a capful of purification oil into the candle. Relight the candle for seven days, and keep your meditation for about 20 minutes each day. As you meditate on each day, say your spell. “I give thanks that the blogs within [mention what is blocking you] are dissolved into the nothingness from which they came, so mote it be.
The best time to do this spell every day is just as the sun is setting, and the waning Moon is beginning to climb.

I hope you all are enjoying the Moon series as much as I am. We are just a day away from this month’s Full Moon, and it comes to us in fiery Sagittarius. Last week we talked about how to increase your abundance and success during a Full Moon phase, and today we are going to talk about how to increase the amount of love in your life. No matter what position your love life is in right now, a love spell can help you harness your true romantic potential. I always say before you are going to perform one of these spells, clear your mind, focus your intent. If you go into a love spell, or any spell, with the wrong intent, the results could be disastrous. For example you may wish for someone to come into your life, and then when they do, the damage is irreversible if they were not meant for your higher good. Always always do a love spell with the intent of increasing love, and not of trying to manipulate or coerce any one person, unless they share the same intent. So with that being said, let’s get to the spell!

What you will need for this one will be incense, any kind that you choose. You may want to visit a Wiccan or New Age store to see what kind of incense caters specifically to love spells, each store will be different. When in doubt, always choose sage, a beautiful purifier. A wide red candle that you can engrave onto, and something with a tip or blade that will help in that regard as well. Write the name of the person that you are thinking about. Now, as much as I said spells are not meant to induce or manipulate, you are still allowed to think of the one that you love. Write their name, and then the word “loves”, and then your name onto your candle. If you have a big enough candle, write the words “by the power of the Moon.”

When the Moon is full, either inside or outside, you can light your incense. You can also light your candle at this time. As you do so, say the words, “By the Moon whose light gives me powers untold, May my lovers heart unfold and open to my heart, Moon may we always be lovers and never part, so mote it be.”

Your next and final step is to allow the candle to burn down into a safe place without any drafts, or any fire hazards as well. You can stay by your candle during this time if you like, or you can go about your comings and goings. The love spell will be over when your candle burns down to the final end. As it does, the smoke will gather the power that you have harnessed, and work your love magic for you.

Hello friends, I hope that you have been enjoying our blog discussion series on the Moon! We are about one week away from a Full Moon that will arrive in Sagittarius next Saturday May 25, 2013. When the Full Moon is in a Fire sign you can always expect fireworks, and Sagittarius does like to enjoy themselves so next weekend promises to be an exciting one for many of you. Especially if you have a sweet Sag in your life. If you want to know more about what qualities the Full Moon in Sagittarius will embody, be sure that you are following my Tumblr blog as I will give you all that information day by day in my daily astrological forecast. I also recently wrote about Moon in Sagittarius on my Moon Sign compatibility series that you can catch either on my About Me page or through my Pinterest boards. Today however we are going to talk about how to make the most out of next week’s Full Moon in Sagittarius by showing you a money spell that you can use during the Full Moon. Next week I will follow that up with a love spell so that you will have two spells on hand for casting during our upcoming Full Moon in Sagittarius, and for every full moon after that. So let’s get to it! Here is your Full Moon money spell.

The most important component of any Full Moon spell is your intention and your state of mind. If you are only seeking riches then your needs and wishes will not be met. You must be prepared to offer the Moon something in turn for your wish being granted, and that is an offering of gratitude for all of your blessings and a promise of unconditional love into the world. This can by simple prayer before you cast your Full Moon money spell. “Thank you for all of the blessings you have provided me thus far, I am grateful for each and every one of them and am setting the intention to cast a spell to multiply your gracious blessings.” Clear your mind with this prayer and free yourself from distractions before you begin. You will then want to go outside at 9 PM to a private quiet area where you will be able to see the moon. Bring your wallet with you! You can also bring a white candle with you if you want, and if you want a truly Wiccan experience draw a white circle around you as you sit on Mother Earth and chant your spell to the Moon.

When you have a moment of peace and have found your quiet place, take your wallet and open it up and show it to the Moon. Chant “Fill it Up” three times facing the Moon to the North, and then do it three times each for South, East, and then West. When you are finished your spell, simply say, “So mote it be.”

You must also close your spell with the same way you opened it, with gratitude. A simple thank you is enough. You may want to offer something to the Moon, like throwing pennies at it as I have mentioned in previous spells. Flowers, or whatever other tokens you want to offer your Moon that come from your heart are perfect.

Happy New Moon day friends I hope that you have been enjoying our fun Moon ritual series. What better day to post this week’s feature than on a New Moon day? Have you ever had one of those days where you were waiting for a wish opportunity to come around so that you could your day from “blah” into something miraculous? Well my friends, your wish is my command, and so today we are going to cover some New Moon wishes for you. Need a wish today? Here are a few for you.

The first thing you can do during a New Moon is make a list of ten wishes that you have. Don’t write more than 10, and you must handwrite it. Remember, it is about the power of intention. This list must be written within the first 8 hours of the Moon, and not when the Moon is void. You can find out the exact times by following my Tumblr blog. If you make wishes during a void cycle, your wish will become void as well. If you miss this time frame, so long as you do so within the first 48 hours of the activated New Moon, you will strengthen the power of your wishes. Keep this list until the next New Moon.

If you would like the New Moon cycle to bring you money, write yourself an abundance check. This sets your intention of creating more abundance in your life. Write a personal check from yourself, to yourself, date it, but don’t put a dollar value in it. In the dollar value line, write “Paid in Full”. On your signature line, write “The Law of Abundance”. If you don’t have any checks to use, you can always just make your own. The check you obviously will not take to a bank, it is just once again, setting the intention for the universe to take care of from there.

Hello friends, I hope you all are enjoying the blog series on Moon rituals. We have a New Moon coming up next week and so what better time to prepare for that than now. When the New Moon arrives next week on Thursday May 9th at 8:50 P.M. E.S.T. you can use the next 24 hour period to create abundance in your life in any area. Because the two most common questions that I am asked pertain to love and money, those are the spells that I am going to provide for you today. To do these spells next Thursday or Friday evening you will need a piece of paper, a pen, a New Moon, and a candle. Let’s get to it!

New Moon Love Spell
If you would like to create a New Moon Love Spell you must start within the first 24 hours of the New Moon. So from 8:50 P.M. E.S.T. Thursday evening to the same time on Friday evening you must cast this spell. On the evening of your New Moon write your love wish or dream on the piece of paper you procured. Light the candle and look into the flames and visualize your dream coming true. Look to the Moon and request that your wish be granted. You will then burn this piece of paper with your candle and dispose of it. It is important that you complete this spell for 12 consecutive days. If you miss a day, you will have to start all over again, but will not be able to start until the next New Moon.

New Moon Money Spell

For this spell you will need to begin it at 8:50 P.M. E.S.T. or 5:50 P.M. P.S.T. and you can use your piece of paper, or one of your checks from your checkbook. Light your candle. You are now going to write a check to yourself in order to set the intention to create abundance in your life. For the date, just enter XXXXX and for the Amount write “Paid in Full” and in the written amount write “Paid in Full” and on the Signature Line write “The Law of Abundance”. Put this check into a locked box and as you look into the flame of your candle say “I see the Moon and the Moon sees me, here is my wish for abundance please.” And that’s pretty much it. You keep your wish locked in your box, and every time you get a wish opportunity ask for the universe to grant you your wish from the law of abundance!

Always remember folks that it is much better for your karmic balance to ask for abundance in love or abundance in money and success. You never want to ask for one specific person to love you, or for a set amount of money because that might not be the universal plan for you and that is a waste of a wish. And if that wish were to come true because you wished for it or cast a spell for it, then you may have made a big mistake. But when you wish for love, or abundance in and of itself, it will come to you in its purest and most genuine form when your intention is pure as well. And this result is nothing short of miraculous.
